Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) Officer’s Club distributed relief goods among 250 poor, helpless and jobless people on Wednesday (April 01).
The relief goods items included five kg rice, one litre oil, two kg potatoes, one packet salt and two laundry and toilet soaps, says a press release of BARI.
BARI Director (Support & Services) Habibur Rahman Sheikh inaugurated the relief distribution activities at BARI Officers Club premises in the morning. BARI Director (Training and Communication) Dr Md. Ashraf Hossain, BARI Scientists Association (BARISA) General Secretary Dr Md Sahiduzzaman, General Secretary of the BARI Officer’s Club Dr Shyamal Brahma, members of the Executive Committee of the BARI Officer’s Club, BARI scientists and officers were present on the occasion. BARI Officer’s Club urged the affluent people in the country to come forward to helping the helpless, poor and unemployed people in this disaster situation.
