Election of 2022 executive committee of Barguna Press Club has been completed. district representative of Bangladesh Post Advocate Sanjib Das has been elected unopposed as president and Sohail Hafeez, Barguna district representative of NTV and Daily Sun, as general secretary.
The 43rd Annual General Meeting was held at the Barguna Press Club's own auditorium on Friday afternoon, December 24 under the chairmanship of Zahirul Hasan Badshah, the current President of the Barguna Press Club. After the general meeting, the newly elected committee was announced by Zakir Hossain Miraj, Chief Election Commissioner of Barguna Press Club Election-2022.
The other members of the newly elected committee are Senior Vice President Md. Jafar Hossain Hawlader, Vice President Abu Jafar Saleh , Joint Secretary Ferdous Khan Emon , Finance Secretary Swapan Das and Literary, Cultural and Sports Editor Jahangir Kabir Mridha. Former President of Barguna Press Club Chittaranjan Shil, Hasanur Rahman Jhantu, Monir Hossain Kamal, Former General Secretary Hafizur Rahman, Office and Library Secretary Rezaul Islam Titu, Members Riaz Ahmed Musa, Sahidul Islam Swapna, Malek Mithu, among others were also present at the Annual General Meeting.
