Banskhali Police Station Officer in Charge (OC) Kamal Uddin PPM has been recognized as the best OC of Chattogram district for the 8th time.
OC Md. Kamal Uddin PPM presented the crest in recognition of the best OC by Superintendent of Police SM Shafiullah at Chattogram District Police Office last Sunday afternoon.
This recognition was given to him for his special contribution to maintaining peace and order in the area, including the recovery of weapons, drugs, and the arrest of tainted accused.
OC Kamal Uddin after joining Banshkhali in 2021 received recognition of excellence four consecutive times in November and December and January and February 2022. After that the distribution of this medal was stopped. After re-opening, he received recognition of excellence for the 8th consecutive time with recognition of excellence in January, April, May and June 2023. Also this time 4 constables of Banskhali police station have become the best in the district. They are - SI Rafiqul Islam, SI Mohammad Masood, ASI Mohammad Khalek, ASI Abdur Rahim.
Earlier, police station Second Officer SI Rajib Poddar was also awarded for solving more cases and ASI Abdul Khalek for contributing to the arrest of more accused.
Kamal Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banskhali Police Station said, Banshkhali Police Station is working sincerely to control the law and order situation and is able to recover large quantities of drugs, weapons and arrest the accused.
