Like the whole country, the number of corona patients is increasing in Dinajpur as well.  Concerned citizens says the entire district, including Dinajpur Sadar, has fallen most vulnerable to the virus because of the employees of some private banks and NGOs.

It is reported that the private bank and NGO workers are leaving Dinajpur on Thursday afternoon or at night for different districts of the country on their own transport motorcycles or on bus and train.

They are going to their homes in different districts of the country including Nilfamari, Dhaka, Rajshahi, Narayanganj and joining the office in Dinajpur on Sunday morning.

Already, several bank officials and NGO workers in Dinajpur have been infected with the Corona virus. Also, the pharmaceutical representatives are not behind in returning home.

As a result, Dinajpurs residents are at risk of a large number of corona virus infections.  When contacted Dinajpur Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Abdus Kuddus said, "I have heard that government and private company employees have continued to travel to different districts but it is not possible for me to stop it”.

The government has been regularly allowing the employees of NGOs and private companies to continue to travel to their districts, after the government reopened the movement of trains and buses in accordance with the health regulations.

Conscious citizens think that if the district administration of Dinajpur do not take action right now, the number of the corona virus infection will increase in Dinajpur and the number of bodies will increase too.
