Spirited Bangladesh youth hockey team faceUzbekistan in their third and ultimate Pool B match of the Men's Junior AHFCup hockey competition scheduled to be held on Monday at SultanQaboos Sports Complex in Muscat, Oman.
The match kicks off at 2 pm (BST).
Bangladesh, which currently stands top of the points table in Group B, havebright chance to emerge as group champion if the boys in red and green ableto beat Uzbekistan in their ultimate group match.
Earlier, Bangladesh made an auspicious start competition beating Hong KongChina by 4-0 goals in their opening Pool B match held on Friday last andconfirmed their spot of last four after thrashing Sri Lanka by 14-0 goals intheir second Pool B match held on Saturday last.
The title aspirant Bangladesh pitted in group B along with Sri Lanka, HongKong China and Uzbekistan while the Pool A consist with Thailand, ChineseTaipei, Indonesia and host Oman. The semifinals of the competition will be held on January 11 while the final is slated for January 12.
