Bangladesh map painted with 6500 photos of Bangabandhu

Two-day solo miniature art exhibition of young painter begins in Bogura

A painter of Bogura has prepared a map of Bangladesh with 6500 photos of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, which is being showed at a two-day solo miniature exhibition. 

The two-day solo miniature show of the young painter named Tarikul Islam began in Bogura town on Friday on the occasion of Mujib Barsho. 

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Bogura Md Ziaul Haque inaugurated the show as the chief guest.  

Mahbub Hamid Tara, president of Matidali High School and father of the national team cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim, presided over the function, while Panel Chairman of Bogura Zilla Parishad and AL leader Sultan Mahmud Khan Roni spoke at the event as a special guest. District cultural officer Shahadat Hossain and teacher of Matidali High School Lal Miah took part in the programme. 

It was known that Tarikul prepared the map of Bangladesh with 6500 photos of Bangabandhu, each has the length of 2cm and width of 2.5cm. The map also contains the family members of Sheikh Mujib. 

Tarikul has also published a book of 410 pages which contains 250 pictures of Mujib from 1920 to 1975 including the ones of his brutal carnage. The book sizes 1 inch in length and 1.5 inch in width. It has 35 pencil sketches and 215 watercolor paints.

In cooperation of the panel chairman of zilla parishad and AL leader Sultan Mahmud Khan Roni, this exhibition will run until Saturday.
