The 5th Bangladesh-India Cultural Reunion festival 2022 was held at Uttara Ganabhaban in Natore on Sunday. This cultural festival started by singing national anthem of two countries. In the beginning Indian artists appeared with cultural performances later others presented their performances.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak presided over the function.Minister from Tripura Ram Prasad Paul was present as the Chief Guest. State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, Natore-2 MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Natore-1 MP Shahidul Islam Bakul, Natore-Naogaon reserved constituency MP Ratna Ahmed, Assistant High Commissioner Sanjeev Bhati, Municipal Mayor Uma Chowdhury were present as the special guests.
State Minister for ICT Palak call on everyone for building peaceful, developed, modern, aesthetic, humane and golden Bangladesh by the ideology of Bangabandhu’s dream and Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violence policy.This reunion festival arranged by Friends of Bangladesh and organized by the people of Natore. Through laser show both countries flag was raised and also showed bilateral relation of these countries.
This festival is organized on the golden jubilee of friendship between Bangladesh and India.
Minister of State for ICT expresses gratitude for 50 years of friendly relations with India.
He said, “Besides our political relationship, our Prime Minister has extended economic and prosperous relationship with our close neighboring country.”
He mentioned Natore Hi- Tech Park and Bangladesh-India Digital Employment Training Centre are being constructing under the grant of India.
Earlier, Palak welcomed a 42-member Indian delegation arrived at Uttara Ganabhaban in Natore.
