When a lot of developed and developing countries are struggling to get hold of the coronavirus vaccine for their countrymen, our prime minister’s visionary and efficient leadership is propelling us towards safety from this deadly virus.
As per a report published in this daily on Friday, at least 130 countries in the world did not yet get a single dose of corona vaccine. Whereas, in our country over 18 lakh people have already been vaccinated so far.
At the initial stage, there were some doubts and confusions among the people about the availability of vaccines. But, due to extensive government publicity regarding safety and security of the virus, people became aware of it and are happily taking the jabs now. Everyone is now coming to vaccination centres with interest and enthusiasm to get vaccinated. It is good to note that our national team cricketers also got vaccinated recently, which will encourage our youngsters to get vaccinated.

Now, as conscious citizens, we also have responsibilities. After getting vaccine shots, we will have to maintain health guidelines. More steps should now be taken so that the government can ensure vaccination up to rural level as well. We hope together we can make the pandemic disappear completely from the country.
