Bangabandhu’s portrait will inspire youths: Razzaque

Agriculture Minister Dr Abdur Razzaque on Sunday said that the young generation will be inspired by the ideology of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Bangabandhu’s portrait will also motivate the youths of the country to believe in the spirit of the Liberation War.

The minister made the remarks at a meeting while he was speaking as the chief guest after visiting the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the vast crop land at Balenda village under Sherpur upazila of Bogura district.

He attended the seminar titled “Agriculture Revolution in Bangladesh: From Bangabandhu to Sheikh Hasina” in Bogura town on Sunday. Director General for Department of Agricultural Extension Md Asadullah presided over the seminar which was held at Bogura Rural Development Academy. 

Minister Abdur Razzaque said,” Portrayal of Bangabandhu will inspire the youth of this country about the spirit and ideology of Bangabandhu. 

He was the true friend of farmers of this country. In his political life, he tried to improve the condition of farmers. 

He took many steps to develop the farming sector of Bangladesh. Bangabandhu will live through the agriculture of Bangladesh”

“Shasyachitre Bangabandhu will take place at Guinnesss World Record soon”, he added.

Agricultural development indicates the overall development of a country. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is prioritizing the growth of Agriculture. 

The government has reduced the price of fertilizers to ease up the burdens of farmers. Steps have been taken to commercialise agriculture in root levels. 

Excellent progress has been achieved in agriculture sector in last 12 years,” he also said.

Bogura-1 MP Shahadara Mannan and Senior Secretary of Agriculture Ministry Mesbahul Islam spoke at the ceremony as special guests. 

Deputy Commissioner of Bogura Ziaul Haq, Bogura Police Super Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan and other officials also attended the ceremony.
