A mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been unveiled at Bangladesh Medical College (BMC) in Dhaka marking the Victory Day celebration.
Agricultural Minister and Bangladesh Medical Studies and Research Institute (BMSRI) Chairman unveiled the mural on the campus on December 16, said a press release.
Dean of Medicine faculty at Dhaka University Shahriar Nabi and BMC’s Governing Body Chairman Dr Deen Mohd Noorul Haq were present at the programme. Speakers at the progammes warned the ill-forces
opposing the country’ Liberation War and the installment of sculpture of facing consequence.
Bangabandhu is in the heart of the Bengali nation. Demanding Bangabandhu or damaging his image or sculpture hurt our hearts, they added.
They vowed to defeat the communal forces, who oppose liberation and sculpture, in the country.
Officials and employees of the medical college participated in the programme.
