The Barguna district administration has unveiled the cover of a book ‘Mujib in Centenary’, a biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The book was published on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Barguna Mustain Billah formally unveiled cover of the book as the chief guest at a function at conference room of Barguna DC office on Sunday.
Chairman of Barguna Zila Parishad Delwar Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-Revenue) Jalal Uddin, Additional Superintendent of Police Moharram Hossain, former commander of Muktijudhya Sangsad Abdur Rashid, freedom fighters Anwar Hossain, Abdul Motaleb Mridha and Sukh Ranjan spoke at the unveiling ceremony, among others.
The 226-page book contains memoirs of Bangabandhu's descendants, his memory of running the state at various places during the war of liberation and pictures of his family members.
