Chattogram Metropolitan Pathantuli Ward Sheikh Jamal Smriti Sangsad has organized a football tournament in the polo ground of the city in memory of Shaheed Captain Sheikh Jamal, one of the organizers of the sports world, son of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said, sports expands the human body and mind and gives completeness to people. Only a sportsperson can enlighten the society and the country. But in the current context, our youth is drifting away from the sports arena day by day due to the strong invasion of drugs and technology. As a result of which our social system is having an adverse effect. Social moral decay is happening. After independence, the Bangabandhu family not only built the country, the Bangabandhu family arranged the sports field. The unique role of Bangabandhu's two sons Sheikh Kamal and Sheikh Jamal in the sports field of this country is undeniable. On the other hand, Zia's son Tarek Zia has destroyed the sports arena of the country, instead of sports, he gave weapons and drugs to the students.
