The countdown to the observance of birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman begins on Friday at TSC crossing point of Dhaka University (DU). DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated this countdown as chief guest. Teachers, students, officials and employees of the university were present there on this occasion.
This countdown programme at DU was launched after inauguration of the countdown nationally by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Tejgaon Old Airport at 5pm on Friday.
