The final game of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Union Parishad Gold Cup Football Tournament (Boys) under-17 organized by the upazila administration and upazila sports organization in Banshkhali of Chittagong has been completed.
Kalipur Union Parishad vs Chambal Union Parishad competed in the final game held at Chambal High School on Friday morning. Chambal Union Parishad won by defeating Kalipur Union Parishad 1-0. Upazila Executive Officer Saiduzzaman Chowdhury presided over the prize distribution ceremony after the game.
Alhaj Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury, Member of Parliament of Chittagong-16 (Banskhali) Constituency was present as the chief guest. Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Khondkar Mahamudul Hasan, Thana Officer Incharge (OC) Md. Kamal Uddin, Upazila Women Vice Chairman Rehena Akter Kazemi, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Professor Abdul Gafur, Upazila Agriculture Officer Abu Chalek, Kalipur Union were present as special guests. Council Chairman Advocate ANM Shahadat Alam, Chambal Union Parishad Chairman Mujibul Haque Chowdhury, Banshkhali Upazila Sports Association Vice President Lion Shahidul Mostafa Chowdhury Mizan were present.
