Bandhu Kalyan Samity launched in Nilphamari

A voluntary organisation named ‘Bandhu Kalyan Samity’ was launched in Nilphamari through holding an Eid re-union programme at Nilphamari Govt High School on Saturday. The platform was floated by the students of SSC batch-1986 of the school and some other educational institutes.

At the beginning of the journey, the organisation announced to support to meritorious students of Hazi Danesh Science and Technology University in Dinajpur every year, hailing from Nilphamari district. Members of the organisation vowed to support poor students of other public universities and help under privileged people. They raised a fund instantly.

A 21-member executive committee was also formed at the meeting. Shah Md Anwar and Md Imran Ali were made president and secretary respectively, while Dr Md Abu Hasan, a teacher of Hazi Danesh Science and Technology University, was made advisor. Kamal Pasha Emu, a banker, conducted the program. The programme ended following lunch.
