The inauguration ceremony of school building of Golden Eagle Nursery in Bangladesh Air Force Base at Paharkanchanpur area in Tangail district was held on Monday.
The school is being conducted by Bangladesh Air Force Women’s Welfare Association (BAFWWA), said ISPR.
President of BAFWWA Tahmida Hannan inaugurated the school building as the chief guest by releasing balloons and pigeons.
BAFWWA was established on 10 June in 1977 with the motto `Service, Culture and Friendship’. Since its inception, BAFWWA has been running with various types of welfare activities. To fulfill the dream of Sonar Bangla of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Vision 2041’ of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, current BAFWWA President Tahmida Hannan has implemented 24 different projects within very short time with the aim of education, treatment and employment.
It is mentionable that Bangladesh BAFWWA has been conducted six BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery’ schools and one Blue Sky School for special children at different bases with the aim of promoting children's education. In continuation of these welfare activities, BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery, Paharkanchanpur has been inaugurated on Monday with a colorful ceremony.
The Vice Presidents of BAFWWA Central Committee, Presidents of all Regional Branches of BAFWWA, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Paharkanchanpur and students of BAFWWA Golden Eagle Nursery were present on the occasion.
