BAF replaces contingent in C Africa Republic

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) is going to replace its contingent which consists of 125 members at United Nations Peacekeeping Mission (UNPM) deployed in Central African Republic (MINUSCA), said ISPR on Wednesday.

As a part of this replacement, 125 BAF members left Dhaka for Central African Republic on Wednesday by a chartered aircraft of Biman Bangladesh Airlines. 

The Armed Military Utility Helicopter Unit is led by Gp Capt Shah Kawsar Ahmed Choudhury. It is mentionable that BAF has achieved good reputation and glory by performing their duties in mitigating conflict with efficiency, professionalism and sincerity. 

A special munajat was offered seeking more excellence of the contingent in future at the departure lounge of the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) prior to their departure for Central African Republic. Senior BAF officers were also present at the airport during departure. Earlier, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat briefed the contingent members at BAF Base Bashar on May 30 and offered special munajat for the success of the mission. 

While addressing, Chief of Air Staff advised them to discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism and sincerity and bring honour for BAF as well as for the country. He emphasized the need for taking preventive actions to reduce the transmission of Coronavirus and remain extra careful about it.
