In alignment with the National Tree Plantation Programme-2025, the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has launched its own ‘Tree Plantation Programme-2025’ to enhance the country’s green resources and contribute to ecological balance.
Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan officially inaugurated the programme by planting a sapling at the Air Headquarters premises on Monday.
This year’s campaign is being observed under the national slogan, “Let us go for planned afforestation to build a greener Bangladesh”.
Senior officials, including Principal Staff Officers of Air Headquarters, participated in the event by planting various saplings. Directors and other senior officers of the BAF were also present during the ceremony.
In addition to the central event, all BAF bases and units across the country are carrying out similar plantation drives, focusing on fruit-bearing, forestry, and medicinal plants.
