A special song named ‘Kadhe Bhari bag’ written by Kabir Bokul was released on October 18.
The song was recorded in 2015, at AB Kitchen Studios. Ayub Bachchu’s melody and song recording through this song inspired the school-going Prerona.
Not only that, it is the only new song released from the tune left by Ayub Bachchu.
Prerona is the eldest daughter of artiste couple Kabir Bokul-Dinat Jahan Munni. Kabir Bokul is memorable in the context of making the song.
He said, “It was 2015. My eldest daughter Perrana then went to school. She is a huge fan of Ayub Bachchu Bhai. One day she said to me, Dad, will you take me to meet Bachchu Uncle? I like his songs very much. I called Bachchu Bhai and told him that my daughter wants to meet you. He said, come to the studio with her.
I took my daughter to AB kitchen. Prerona took pictures with Bachchu Bhai. He wanted to know if she sings. I said yes, but she sings English numbers really well. He wanted to hear. Inspired, she sang ‘Rolling in the Deep’ by Adele. Bachchu Bhai stopped Prerona after hearing a little.
Then he gave her the guitar and told her to sing while playing it. After playing two songs in a row, Bachchu Bhai told me, I will sing for her. It is my responsibility to make her album. You write. Let’s sit down tomorrow evening.”
Kabir Bokul further said, “The next day Bachchu Bhai himself called me and asked me when I would go there. I said, at seven. When we went there that evening, in one sitting, four songs were composed with melodies and a whole song - ‘Kadhe Bhari Bag’. Tracking the music, Prerona sang the. A day later, Prerona stood in front of the first microphone. The song was sung.”
Kabir Bakul said that Ayub Bachchu was interested in taking the voice of the song again but it had not happened. The song has originally been released on the internet five years later in memory of Ayub Bachchu. Nurunnabi Chowdhury Hasib has done a great animation keeping in line with the audio of the song.
