Awareness programme on road transport law held in Chuadanga

No parking any place, avoiding drugs in driving hour, using helmets of motorcyclists, possessing valid registration of transports, driving license and acknowledging the newly traffic rules were discussed at a programme in Chuadanga under the auspices of district administration and BRTA.

A programme on Motivation and Awareness about Sarak Paribahan Ain-2018 (Road Transport Law-2018)' was held at Chuadanga Deputy Commissioner Sahitya Monch on November 7. The programme was presided over by Monira Parvin, ADM while Najrul Islam Sarker, DC, was present as chief guest. It was addressed as Munsi Alamgir Hannan, organising secretary of District Awami League, Kolimullah, ASP, M General, president of Bus Track Paribahan Sramik Union, Mamunar Rashid, president of covered van sramik union and A Nasir Joarder, president of bus minibus malik samity.

Monira Parvin, ADM of Chuadanga urged upon the drivers and motorcyclists not to use mobile phone during driving their vehicles. She also said that do not drive transports by taking any kind of drugs for following traffic rules. Najrul Islam Sarker, DC, said traffic law has been introduced that will be followed by the concerned sections which is their moral duty.

Munsi Alamgir Hannan, organizing secretary of district Awami League stating the present government said, ‘Prime minister Sheikh Hasina likes maintaining good traffic system in the country. So I request all to come forward to follow the new traffic law.’ Youths, students, drivers, motorcyclists, local journalists, businessmen, teachers and owners of different type of vehicles attended at the gathering.
