Auto-rickshaw driver’s body recovered

Just after two days of going missing, police recovered the body of a battery-run auto-rickshaw driver from Prosonnonagar village under Fatulla police station in Narayanganj district on Tuesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Noyon Das, 18, son of Joy Das, resident of Abdullahpur village under Tangibari police station in Munshiganj district.

Deceased’s family sources claimed that Noyon left house to drive a battery run auto-rickshaw on September 5 evening. Since then was missing. 

An allegation arose from the deceased father and maternal uncle in the same voice that they went to Tongibari police station of Munshiganj district to file a general diary but advised them to look for a day then later come to the police station. 

When contacted, Officer in Charge of Tongibari police station, Mahabub Alam on his cell phone, he said none of the missing person's relatives came to me with missing information. Body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy.

Officer-in-Charge of Fatulla police station Rokibuzzaman said that unknown criminals killed Noyon Das and dumped him there. 

The clue behind the killing would be found after getting a post mortem report.

A murder case was filed with Fatulla police station in this regard.
