All the engineers, officers and employees of Gopalganj Public Works Department carried out a human chain program in protest of the barbaric attack on Delwar Hossain, Deputy Assistant Engineer of Rajshahi Public Works Division-2.
They demanded exemplary punishment for the miscreants. The rally was held in front of the Gopalganj Public Works Department office at 11am on Monday.
The engineers present at the human chain urged the government to ensure safe workplaces and working environment in every district of the country.
Executive Engineer of Gopalganj Public Works Department Amit Kumar Biswas, Sub-Divisional Engineer Deepak Chandra Shil, Sub-Divisional Engineer E / M Tanmoy Karmakar, Assistant Engineer of Public Works Zone Humayun Kabir and others were present.
