A human chain and demonstration meeting was arranged under the auspices of Bagerhat Press Club on its premises in protest against attack on Ekattar TV Channel Bureau Chief of Khulna Rafiquddin Pannu. The human chain continued from 11 am to 12 noon. Members of Bagerhat Press Club and leaders of business organizations participated at the human chain.
President of Bagerhat Press Club Adv Mojaffor hossain, General Secretary A Baki Talukder, Journalist ABM Mosharrof Hossain, Adv Shah Alom Tuku, Ali Akbar Tutul along with others were delivered speech. All speakers demanded punishment and arrest of attackers as early as possible. Speakers also said journalists, reporters and correspondents have been working for the interest of the nation. Therefore, this community wants security in their lives.
