Assistive devices were distributed among children with special needs including autistic students as part of the Integrated Education Implementation in Natore’s Lalpur on Monday.
Shahidul Islam Bakul, MP of Natore-1 constituency, was present as the chief guest at a discussion at Lalpur Upazila Parishad auditorium on Monday morning. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ummul Banin Dutti presided over the meeting while Upazila Secondary Education Officer Anwarul Hossain Chowdhury and Primary Education Officer Aleya Ferdous spoke.
Later, assistive devices, wheelchairs, crutches, spectacles and hearing aids were distributed among 12 students with special needs.
