A function for distribution of wheel chair, spectacles and hearing aids to the disabled students was held at Alamdanga upazila town of Chuadanga under the auspices of Alamdanga Upazila Administration on September 16.
Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP of Chuadanga-1 constituency and president of district Awami League, distributed the assistive devices to the disabled students primary schools through a function as chief guest.
Mohammad Ayub Hossain, chairman of Alamdanga upazila parishad, Humayan Kabir, AC (land), Hadi Jiauddin Ahmmed, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Salman Ahmmed Don, Upazila Vice Chairman and Alamgir Kabir, OC of Alamdanga Police Station were present as special guets. Liton Ali, UNO of Alamdanga presided over the function.
Selun, MP, said disabled are not burden to society, if we give them opportunity to learn, they will contribute to the society like others.
Later the chief guest Selun, MP, distributed assistive devices to 11 disabled students of Primary Schools.
