Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visionary foresight has turned into an apparent means of elevating poverty-stricken people who passed their days in extreme misery. Ashrayan project is gradually ending the economic vulnerability of many homeless families by providing them with roof over their heads, livestock, a source of income and necessary financial assistance to rebuild their life.

All the rehabilitated families under Ashrayan project have become self-reliant participating in income generating activities and ensuring proper utilization of micro credit provided by the government. Their socio-economic condition is also improving because of it.
Relevant authorities should now make sure that the interest-free micro-credit reaches the destitute people on a regular basis.
Government should also make sure that the rightful beneficiaries are constantly provided with basic facilities including health, education, and utility services, which will improve their standard of living. Therefore, by availing these facilities these destitute people will be able to have a dream of new life in a new way.
