Art camp held in Narail

An art camp was held at Sultan Bengal Fine Art College in Narail on Friday. Many eminent painters of the country participated in the art camp.  Narail Deputy Commissioner and President of Sultan Foundation Mohammad Ashfakul Haque Chowdhury inaugurated the art camp as the chief guest. Sultan Foundation general secretary Ashikur Rahman Miku, former principal of Narail Government Victoria College Professor Ashok Kumar Sheel, heroic freedom fighter Saifur Rahman Hilu among others were present in the inaugural ceremony. 

A total of 35 eminent painters from different areas of the country participated in the art camp. On the occasion of 99th birth anniversary of world-renowned painter SM Sultan, a 15-day long ‘Sultan Mela’ was started on the Sultan Mancha premises of Narail Government Victoria College from April 15. The fair will continue till April 29.
