A Dhaka court on Monday issued an arrest warrant against four fugitives, who are accused in the BUET student Abrar Fahad killing case. The warrant was issued against fugitive Morsheduzzaman Jisan, Ehteshamul Rabbi Tanim, Morshed Amatya Islam and Mostaba Rafid, said court sources.
The court issued the order as the as the investigation officer into the case showed them absconding in the charge sheet. Earlier the same court accepted the charge sheet against 25 accused students. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md. Kaiserul Islam passed the order after scrutinising the case docket and other relevant documents.
The court fixed December 3 for the submission of reports on the execution on arrest warrant. The body of Abrar was found dead on first-floor stairs of Sher-e-Bangla Hall of the BUET on early hours of October 7.
