The Central Coordination Council meeting of 63 cantonment public and English medium schools and colleges operated by the Bangladesh Army was held on May 21-22, 2025 at the Army Multipurpose Complex in Dhaka Cantonment.
Lt Gen Mizanur Rahman Shamim, Chief of General Staff of the Bangladesh Army and Chairman of the Central Coordination Council, attended as the chief guest.
In his keynote address, the chief guest emphasised enhancing the contributions of army-run educational institutions in expanding quality education. The meeting discussed policy matters and operational issues concerning these institutions, making several key decisions.
Recognition awards and certificates were presented to principals and institutions for their outstanding achievements. The meeting was attended by the Principal Coordinator & Director of the Education Directorate, Director General of Military Land and Cantonments Directorate, all principals of army-run institutions, and other military officials.
