Army distributes relief items among flood victims

In the second phase, food aid was distributed among 300 flood affected families in the remote Chhar areas of Padma River in Jajiraupazila of Shariatpur on the initiative of 28 East Bengal of Bangladesh Army on Friday morning.

Seeing the speedboat of the army arriving, the flood victims rushed for relief in the flood water.

Army members went to the homes of the flood victims and distributed relief items. 

Brigadier General Khandaker Touhid Murad, Commander of 99 Composite Brigade of Bangladesh Army was the chief guest at the distribution.

At the time, Shariatpur Army Camp Captain Lt. Colonel Sami Ud Daula Chowdhury and other army personnel were present.
