The online application for admission into first-year honors programmes at Jahangirnagar University (JU) under the academic session 2022-23 begins on Tuesday. It will continue till May 31.
JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Nurul Alam inaugurated the registration ceremony at the conference room of the new administrative building while pro-vc Professor Sheikh Monzurul Huq, treasurer Prof Rasheda Akhtar, dean of the faculties, director of respective institutions, registrar, teachers and officials were present at that time.
This year, the admission test will take place from June 16 to June 24 under six units. The test for Institute of Business Administration (IBA-JU) will be held separately. The authorities will admit a total of one thousand 844 students.
Examinations of the faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences and Institution of Information Technology will be held under ‘A’ unit, faculty of Social Sciences and Law under ‘B’ unit, faculty of Arts and Humanities and Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture under ‘C’ unit, Fine Arts and Drama and Dramatics under ‘C-1’ unit, faculty of Biological Sciences under ‘D’ unit and faculty of Business Studies under ‘E’ unit.
The application fee for A, B and C units has been fixed at Tk 900 while TK 600 has been fixed for C-1, D, E units and IBA-JU.
