Anu Muhammad lost his left toe while getting off train

Prof. Anu Muhammad, member secretary of National Committee for Oil, Gas, Mineral Resources and Power-Port Protection, slipped and lost his left toe while getting off the train at Khilgaon in the capital.

He was rescued and brought to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) with serious injuries around 11:00 on Sunday. 

He was returning to Dhaka by Ekta Express train from Dinajpur's Phulbari.

Professor Tanjim Uddin Khan, who brought him to the hospital, said that Anu Muhammad was returning to Dhaka by train after a conference from Dinajpur's Fulbari. 

He fell while getting off the train at Khilgaon railway gate. 

All the toes of his left foot were amputated. 

The right leg is also affected. Later, he was rescued and brought to the emergency department of DMCH.

Meanwhile, hearing the news of the accident, his relatives and well-wishers are flocking to the hospital. They are looking into his treatment.
