Mayor of Cox's Bazar municipality Mujibur Rahman participated in an exceptional campaign on Anti-tobacco in Cox's Bazar on Thursday.
Earlier, Mayor inaugurated a view-exchange meeting on 'Smoking and Using of Tobacco Products (Control) Act, 2005' and a bi-cycle rally at the Municipal Auditorium in Cox's Bazar on Thursday morning.
However, private development organization YPSA (Young Power in Social Action) and CTF jointly organized the programme.
At that time, Deputy Director of YPSA Khaleda Begum, Municipal Panel Mayor-2 Helal Uddin Kabir, Counselor Akhter Kamal Azad, Salauddin Setu, Jaheda Akhter, Yasmin Akhter, Residential Medical Officer Cox's Bazar Municipal Health Service Center Dr Ripon Chowdhury, Team Leader of YPSA Nasima Banu Shyaomoli, Asan Sumon, Shamima Akhter along with others were also present.
Before that, an awareness leaflet distributed and bi-cycle rally with the slogan of ' Tobacco free Cox's Bazar is our commitment' rounded the Cox's Bazar town.
