Anti-ragging body formed at IU

The authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia formed an anti-ragging committee for reducing ragging incident, mental harassment and chaos between senor-junior from the campus, registrar office source confirmed.

IU vice-chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari formed the committee headed by student advisor Prof Dr M Saidur Rahman, IU acting additional registrar M Nawab Ali said on Friday. All the hall provosts, senior chairmen of all departments and proctor Prof Dr Paresh Chandra Barman would be the members of the committee, he added.
