Ansar and VDP conference was held in Narail on Sunday noon. The conference was held at district Ansar and VDP office premises in the district. Deputy Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces Md. Shamsul Alam was present as chief guest while Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces Khulna Range Director Mollah Amjad Hossain and Narail Superintendent of Police Prabir Kumar Roy were present as special guests. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Narail Muhammad Habibur Rahman presided over the conference.
Ansar VDP district Commandant Bikash Chandra Das addressed welcome speech in the conference. The conference started by cutting of cakes and flying of pigeons. About 250 Ansar-VDP members in three Upazilas of the district were present at the conference.
District Ansar VDP office sources said, 19 bicycles, 7 sewing machines, 21 umbrellas and books were distributed among the Ansar VDP members in recognition of their good work and to bring dynamism to work of the organization.
