The annual Urs of Chandrapara Pak Darbar Sharif was held in Faridpur Sadar Upazila on Wednesday.
Thousands of devotees from home and abroad attended the programme and prayed for salvation of the departed soul of Sufi Syed Fazal Sultan Ahmed Chandrapuri Nokshibondi Mozadehdi (RA), the founder of the Darbar Sharif marking his demise. The programme of Urs began through recitation of verses from the holy Quran and discussion on Tuesday. Goddinshin Pir of Darbar Sharif Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Syed Quamruzzaman conducted the Akheri munajat on Wednesday.
