Annual sports of Mirsarai Girls’ High School ends

The two-day long annual sports and cultural programme of Mirsarai Girls’ High School, a traditional educational institution in Mirsarai, Chattogram ended on Wednesday.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahfuza Zereen spoke as the chief guest in the discussion under the chairmanship of Alhaj Mohammad Salim Uddin, president of the school management council. The programme was moderated by school teacher Dil Afroz.

The address of welcome was delivered by headteacher Azim Uddin Bhuiya. 

Mirsrai Municipality Mayor Gias Uddin and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Humayun Kabir Khan were the special guests. 

At the end of the discussion, prizes were distributed among the winners of 56 events in sports and cultural competitions.  

In the speech of the chief guest, Upazila Executive Officer Mahfuza Zerin said that apart from studies, Mirsarai Girls’ High School is progressing a lot in terms of sports and culture.

Today’s students will play an important role in building Smart Bangladesh. Parents should play a role along with teachers so that the students could develop themselves as competent.
