On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid materials have been distributed among the disabled, helpless, destitute and poor under the initiative of Anjuman Mufidul Islam Narail District Branch on Thursday. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC-General) Mohammad Fakrul Hasan was present as the chief guest in the distribution ceremony. Semai, sugar, powdered milk and soap were distributed at the district office of the organization near the police line of the town at 10:30 am. Anjuman Mufidul Islam Narail District Branch President Abdur Rashid Mannu presided over the distribution of Eid goods while Anjuman Mufidul Islam Narail District Branch founder general Secretary Muslim Uddin Nannu, Treasurer Md Anwar Hossain, Executive Committee Member KM Akhtaruzzaman Dablu, Md Amjad Hossain, prominent social worker ABM Kamrul Hasan Poplu were present. A total of 65 disabled, helpless, destitute and poor people were received Eid materials.
Anjuman Mufidul Islam Narail district branch founder general secretary Muslim Uddin Nannu said, Eid materials have been provided as part of the humanitarian initiative by this voluntary organization to spread the joy of Eid among the disabled, poor, helpless and distressed families. Anjuman Mufidul Islam provides assistance to the needy and distressed people including the burial of the bereft bodies and in various festivals. The Eid materials have been distributed among the actual beneficiaries, he said.
