Prominent Rabindra Sangeet artiste Anima Roy is releasing music videos of four new songs on the occasion of Durga Puja. On this occasion, a solo concert of the artist will be broadcast on Channel-i on October 25 at 10 pm.
The name of the program is ‘Nibedan’. Music videos of 4 new songs sung by the artiste will be released in this program directed by Iftekhar Munim. At the same time, the songs will be released on Channel-i’s digital platform and Anima Roy’s official YouTube channel.
Anima Roy said, “As an artist, I want to dedicate the song to my audience to brighten up the festival. So this is a Puja greeting for my audience. It is a matter of great joy that many people are releasing festival songs in this Puja. However, I think that a song’s effect lasts only one day or one week. So, on the occasion of the festival, I am giving music videos of some songs which will have appeal for every day of the year. Besides, the students of my own music school Surbihar danced and took part in these activities as models. So the joy is different. We did the work for two days in a row in Manikganj’s Zamidar Bari. So this dedication will be a unique memento with my students.”
The music videos of the songs sung by Anima Roy are: Rajinikanth Sen’s ‘Ami Akriti Adhom’, Atul Prasad Sen’s ‘Bodhu Khoniker Dekha’, ‘Mor Aji Gatha’ and ‘Bodhua Nid Nahi Akhi Paate’. The music video for the songs was produced by Yamin Ilan.
Besides, she will sing live on Ekushey TV’s special program ‘Pujar Diney Gane Gane’ on October 26 at 3 pm.
