A mobile gaming app titled “Amar Bangabandhu” has been developed marking the Mujib Barsho and the golden jubilee of the country’s independence to uphold Bangabandhu’s ideology to the new generation on digital platform.
The mobile gaming app was designed under the joint initiative of the Ministry of the Liberation War and the Directorate of Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC).
A press conference was arranged at BNCC Directorate Conference Room here to inform about the app.
BNCC Director General Brigadier General Nahidul Islam Khan was present on the occasion as the chief guest.
Apprising the journalists about the gaming app, the BNCC DG said the app has been designed to instill Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s ideology and spirit into the minds of the new generation.
A competition began on January 16 on the gaming app and it will continue till 12 midnight of March 26.
Children and youths in three groups (1st group- under 10 years old, 2nd group- from 10-18 years old and third group above 18) are taking part in the competition.
A total of 30 winners (10 winners from each group) will get books, smart phones, tabs and laptops as prizes.
Military and civil officers of BNCC headquarters were present on the occasion.
