Aman paddy and rice procurement campaign has started in Jamalpur. This time, 3 thousand 81 tons of rice will be collected at Tk 42 per kg and 1 thousand 641 tons of rice will be collected at Tk 28.
On Saturday at 11 am, Sinhjani LSD inaugurated the rice and rice collection campaign for the preservation and movement of LSD. Under the chairmanship of Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Litus Lawrence Chiran and Simhajani LSD-1 conservation and movement officer Uttam Kumar Das, Zila Parishad Chairman and District Awami League President Advocate Muhammad Baki Billah, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Mohammad Abul were present as special guests.
Hossain, Bangladesh Automajor and Husking Mill Owners Association President Awlad Hossain Khosru, General Secretary AKM Shafiqul Islam Zulhas etc were also present in the programme. MP said that this time the target of paddy collection is 1 thousand 641 MT. This paddy will be collected at the rate of Tk 28 per kg. Along with that, 3 thousand 81 tons of rice will be collected. This rice will be procured at the rate of Tk 42 per kg.
