All fake ‘certificates’ in one shop!

RAB detains a man, recovers fake certificates, other documents in Ctg


Haque Computer is a shop at the Polytechnic junction in Chattogam city.  In this shop, various types of certificates are found and the certificates look like the original ones. But those certificates basically are fake certificates.  

It was alleged that Haque Computer provides national identity cards, birth registrations, educational qualification certificates, university certificates; city corporation certificates, income tax certificates and other documents from any address in the country.

Recently the information came to light after the members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) had arrested a person involved in the business of forged certificates and documents. It was revealed from the arrestee that for a long time, he had been secretly trading in fake and forged certificates. 

The arrestee was identified as Shahadat Hossain (31), son of S Abdul Aziz of Mouabad area under Sadar police station of Bhola district. He lived in Bandartila Nayarhat area under EPZ police station. 

RAB recovered several fake national identity cards, birth registrations, educational qualification certificates, university certificates, city corporation certificates and income tax certificates from him.

RAB-7 Assistant Director (Media) Mohammad Mahmudul Hasan Mamun said, ‘A man named Shahadat Hossain involved in selling fake and forged certificates has been arrested.

Several fake national identity cards, birth registration, educational qualification certificates, university certificates, city corporation certificates and income tax certificates have been recovered from him. Detained Shahadat Hossain has been handed over to Khulshi police station.’

RAB-7 Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Mashkur Rahman said, ‘Shahadat Hossain had been selling fake and forged certificates for a long time in that shop called 'Haque Computer' and certificates  found to be exactly like the original ones but they are basically fake.’
