AL was born on streets, will remain on streets: Babor

The leaders of Chattogram city's Enayet Bazar Jubo League, Swechasebak League, Chhatra League held a rally at the city's Enayet Bazar junction to protest the most brutal grenade attack in history on Banga­bandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on August 21, 2004.

 Jubo League leader Shibu Prasad Chowdhury presided over the rally organized on Saturday.  Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor, former Deputy Finance Editor of the Central Jubo League, spoke as the chief guest on the occasion.

 Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said that the history of Awami League is the history of sacrifice and struggle.  The history of independent Bangladesh cannot be written without the history of Awami League's sacrifice.  Because the country became independent under the leadership of Bangabandhu by the hand of Awami League.  

Awami League established this country with blood on the streets. Today, many organizations threaten to occupy the streets.  I want to warn them and say that Awami League was born in Rajpath.  The people's organization AL shook the streets during the country's crisis and calamity.  Street has always been occupied by the Awami League.  Awami League will occupy the streets with the people in the crisis of the country in the coming days.  He paid tribute to all the martyrs of Bangabandhu's family including Bangabandhu on August 15 and paid tribute to all the martyrs of August 21.

 Awami League leader Sujit Ghosh, Abdus Sukkur, Volunteer League leader Morshedul Alam, Aminul Islam Shahanur, Mohammad Jahed, Mohammad Farid, Tauhidul Islam Mithun, Mohsin College Chhatra League leader Anwar Hossain Palash, Kotwali Thana Chhatra League Joint General Secretary Imran Hossain Sazen, Shubo Datta , Antar Hor, Chattogram College Chhatra League leader Gobind Dutta, Ariful Islam Arif spoke on the occasion.

 Swechasebak league leaders MA Masud, Babul Dey, Manna Dey, Mohammad Feroz, Mohammad Iqbal, Mohammad Hasan, Delwar Hossain Rubel, Nazim Uddin, Mostafa Aman, Yashir Arafat Riku, Farhan Uddin Khan, Touhidul Karim Emon, Imtiaz Babar, Pial Dey, Zaheed Abhi, Salah Uddin, Praloy Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
