Ruling Awami League and all of its associate bodies are going to stage angry demonstrations and hold rallies countrywide in protest against an open death threat to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the president of the ruling party, by a BNP leader in Rajshahi.
A press release issued on Sunday night by Awami League office secretary BiplabBarua said the party will stage angry demonstrations and hold rallies at all the districts, metropolitans and elsewhere in the country. He said the programmes will he held as Rajshahi district unit BNP convener Abu Sayeed Chand issued an open death threat to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina while speaking at a public rally.
The press release also said that AL general secretary ObaidulQuader, also the Minister for Road, Transport and Bridge, ordered all the leaders and activists of all the units of AL and its all associated bodies to attend the programme properly.
