The Vice Chancellor of American International University Bangladesh (AIUB), Dr Carmen Z Lamagna went to the Indian High Commission (IHC) on Wednesday for a courtesy call on the High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh, Riva Ganguly.
They discussed on various opportunities to strengthen the collaboration between AIUB and the IHC, particularly in the field of internationalization, capacity building, resource enrichment and industry liaison. Riva Ganguly pointed out the huge potential of Bangladeshi youth engaging into entrepreneurship aligned with the exponential growth of the country. In response to the invitation of Dr Carmen, she also expressed her interest to interact more with AIUB students through a lecture session in near future. Nabanita Chakrabarti, first secretary (political) of the IHC, Manzur H Khan, director, Office of Student Affairs and Shama Islam, assistant professor, Faculty of Business Administration and Special Assistant of the VC, AIUB were also present at that time.
