Agrani Bank Limited, in a bid to diversify it's digital services to customers, has launched mobile application ‘AgranieAccount’.
The move will facilitate account opening by customers from their home.
Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar inaugurated the mobile app by opening his own account on June Sunday as the
chief guest at a webinar organized by IT and MIS Division of the country's 2nd largest state owned comm
ercial bank.
With this, online account opening application service has been added to the bank's technology based services such as ATM, POS, RTGS, Agent Banking and Digital Transaction (from bank to bKash, bKash to bank).
In his speech, Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa Jabbar said that opening an account through Agrani Bank's mobile apps will play a major role in building a digital Bangladesh. This will be an effective service during the Corona pandemic.
He also praised Agrani Bank for being the first in green financing and providing over 1 billion in foreign exchange at Padma Bridge. Moreover, he congratulated Agrani Bank for opening his own first account in mobile apps.
