The 25th Annual General Meeting of Palli Bidyut Samiti was held at Gopalganj.
Gopalganj Palli Vidyut Samiti organised this annual meeting at the office of Palli Bidyut Samiti in Karargati area of Gopalganj on Thursday (February 15).
Abdul Alim Molya, President of Gopalganj Palli Vidyut Samiti, Association Board, presided over the meeting.
In the meeting, Assistant Director of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board Md. Asadud Zaman Shipon read his message on behalf of the chairman of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board, Abdul Alim Molla read the report of the president of the association board.
General Manager of Gopalganj Palli Bidyut Samity Md. Zulfikar Rahman read the report of General Manager (GM) in the meeting.
Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board Deputy Director Mohammad Khademul Haque, Kashiani Upazila Awami League General Secretary Jahangir Alam, Gopalganj Municipality No. 1 Ward Councilor Jobair Islam Jhantu were also present in the meeting.
In the said meeting, a total of 26 honored customers of different categories of Gopalganj Pubis were awarded through lottery.
Prizes were given to 105 honorable customers/members who paid regular electricity bills of different categories based on the upazila of Gopalganj.
Also, three customers including the highest power user J.K. Polymer Industries Ltd. were honored by giving crests.
Approximately 1200 esteemed customers/members including local dignitaries and politicians attended the meeting and made the meeting a success.
