Admission test for 1st year (honors) class of 'Arts and Social Sciences' unit of government seven colleges affiliated to Dhaka University for the academic year 2020-2021 has been held in a fair and peaceful manner on Saturday.
On this occasion, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman visited Begum Badrunnessa Government Girls College Examination Center. At this time, among others, the chief coordinator of the admission test of the ‘Arts and Social Sciences’ unit of seven government colleges and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, DU, Professor Dr Abu Md Delwar Hossain and Begum Badrunnesa Government Women's College Principal Professor Sabikun Nahar were present.
After visiting the test center, DU VC Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman expressed satisfaction over the smooth and peaceful conduct of the admission test. He said that the candidates have participated in the examination following proper hygiene rules. He sincerely thanked all concerned for their overall cooperation in completing the admission test smoothly.
It may be mentioned that this year, the number of applicants for 14,350 seats in the ‘Arts and Social Sciences’ unit of seven government colleges is 31,358.
