Admission process for IU ‘D’ unit begins on 29 June

The admission process of the ‘D’ unit for the first-year honours courses under the 2024-25 academic session at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia will begin from 29 June.

An admission notice and its relevant information was published yesterday signed by Theology and Islamic Studies faculty Dean Professor Dr ABM Siddiqur Rahman Asrafi, also the coordinator of the unit. 

The first merit list aspirants will be admitted from 29 June to 01 July for 320 seats during office hours at the coordinator office on the 4th floor of the faculty building. The admission process must be completed by paying the required admission fees by 06 July, mentioned the notices.

After completion of the first merit list admission, subject to seat availability, interviews for the 2nd merit list will be held on 14 and 15 July. The admission process must be completed by 16 July.

The 3rd merit list will be announced later to seat availability through a notice on the university website (iu.ac.bd).

The candidates seeking admission must bring the original admit card of the admission test signed by the exam hall invigilator, original admit cards, registration cards, mark sheets, and certificates of SSC/equivalent and HSC/equivalent examinations, or a testimonial from the last attended institution, eight passport-size color photographs of the candidates, the notices further mentioned that.
