Admission applications for students from grade one to nine in both public and private schools across the country have started. The application process, which opened on Tuesday at 11am, will remain open until 5pm on November 30. Students or guardians can submit their applications online through the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) portal: https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd/.
As per DSHE's announcement on October 29, admissions will be conducted through a digital lottery after the application period ends. This system is intended to ensure fair and equal opportunities for all applicants. The digital lottery selection will be held on December 17, and the admission process for selected students will run from December 17 to December 21.
To apply, students need to pay an application fee of Tk110, which can be processed through Teletalk, the state-run mobile network operator. This fee applies separately for each public and private school application.
For students who do not get selected in the first round, a waiting list has been prepared. Admissions from the first waiting list will take place from December 22 to December 24. If seats remain available, a second waiting list will be used from December 26 to December 30.
This digital admission process is designed to be transparent and convenient for both students and parents, providing an equal chance for all applicants to secure seats in their preferred schools. DSHE urges all interested students and their guardians to complete applications by the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues or delays.
